Materials have been selected for the shim rods and burnable absorbers to compensate excessive reactivity of facility’s blanket part provide possibility control in conjunction with a plasma source neutrons. Burnable absorber is layer zirconium diboride (ZrB 2 ) thickness 100 μm applied surface fuel compacts. Boron carbide (B 4 C) installed helium flow channels used bring entire system into state k eff = 0.95 as rod material. Throughout its operating cycle, facility subcritical controlled using neutron flux from source. Verified codes, WIMS-D5B (ENDF/B-VII.0) MCU5TPU (MCUDВ50), well modern constants were calculations. The neutronic performance was simulated regard changes inner structure temperature microencapsulated compact materials caused by long-term irradiation migration fission fragments gaseous chemical compounds.
